The Creation
When you are designing a product for babies and toddlers you have to keep in mind that children are very curious. If something is strapped around their bottle, sippie cup, stroller or car seat, the child is going to try to find a way to remove it. Therefore we designed our product to be removed only by the adult.
We use a curved buckle with adjustable straps that wraps perfectly around different size bottles and sippie cups making it a secure, snug fit. We also use a loop system that wraps around the stroller, car seat, etc. to prevent the bottle, sippie cup from falling to the ground. The middle connecting strap is adjustable. This enables the strap to extend and fit the growth of the child.
We believe our product is better then other designs because it is child proof. Our curved buckle at the end of our product is the key to prevent the child from removing it. Allowing only an adult to buckle and unbuckle our product.
We tried using Velcro, elastic, and snaps and they did not pass our child proof test! These items came undone and the bottle and sippie cup ended up on the floor in a matter of seconds, clearly not child proof!
